When that border gets far down enough towards the centre of the Earth, does it spiral?

Do other borders extend to the center of the Earth like 3D versions of the Antarctic claim wedges?

Well, they definitely go beneath the ground. And there's a certain depth where it doesn't really matter who owns what.

there is a legitimate argument about who owns the center of the earth, as all ppl/countries with land that isnt like specifically "no you dont have mining rights" or something own down there.

Maybe someday we'll get a lot of flags on the core and it will look like the moon
