The whispering game but in writing.
  1. Open the spoiler from the previous post, read the contents once, close again immediately.
  2. Type out the text from memory, trying hard to include all details.
  3. If you made a perfect copy, you may start a new text with at least 25 words.
  4. If you produced less than 20 words, take some creative liberty to bring the total number of words back between 20 and 24.
  5. Submit your result from steps 2-4 in a spoiler.
  6. Wait at least one day before taking another turn. No double posting unless separated by at least a week.
Spoiler (Show/Hide)
When my mother told me she painted her greenhouse, I was a little bit confused at first. Any paint on the glass would stop the greenhouse from transmitting light, which is its main purpose. Then, I figured she might have painted the woodwork between the glass panels. Then, I remembered she had a green house. And she didn't even tell me the new color!

Start of second run
Start of third run
Start of fourth run

When my mother told me she painted the greenhouse, I was a little bit confused at first. There would be no way for the light to get through. Then I figured that she must have painted the wood panelling between the panes. Finally I remembered that she had a green house. And she didn't even tell me the new colour!

OK, here goes!
Spoiler (Show/Hide)
I wouldn't have referred to him as a pirate, technically, because all of his thefts occurred on dry land. However, he always dressed the part - he had the tricorn hat and the eyepatch, and he even had a parrot on his shoulder!

OK, looks like I've done a perfect duplicate, but I started the latest chain so I don't want to do the next - someone else want to start?

There could be no doubt now, the fate of the world rested on a coordinated, collective effort from millions. Jormundall considered that to be terrible news, finding and training the mightiest hero of all time would've been a lot easier than getting just a thousand people to all work together. "Like herding cats" he grumbled.
