I’m interested in your thoughts on Wam’s Mak read.
Note for future self: somi didn't answer this.

We will be in a brief twilight phase. Flip will be posted tomorrow at the latest and N2 will commence at that time

The knife jerks sharply to the left, then careens forward, driving deep into your companion's chest. He stares, eyes wide, at the wound, then crumples to the ground. There was no blood. You feel the hairs on the back of your neck stand on end, the tadpole in your brain quivers restlessly as you watch the dark void in the centre of the blade slowly begin to fill to a dark crimson.

Then the lifeless body begin to glow. Hot white. Magic energy crackles and fills the air. You stumbles backward, suddenly liberated from the shadows as piercing white light fill the chamber. Without hesitation, you turn and flee.

The explosion is deafening. The ground seems to pitch sideways, throwing you off of your feet. The air seems like it is one fire. Then... nothing. No body. No dagger. No temple. The place you once were is gone, save for a smouldering black crater. Looking around, you confirm that, miraculously, everyone, save the poor wizard, is still alive.

The sun has set, twilight hangs over you. In silent agreement, you decide to push on for another hour or two. No good will come of sleeping here this night.

Makhaira was eliminated by group vote. He was Gale, Wizard of Waterdeep, aligned with Town.

It is now Night 2. Night will end Thursday, April 18 at 9pm PST. Deadline timer

As the darkness fades and you begin to rise, you look about your companions and realize someone is missing The half-elf woman, Shadowheart. You all begin frantically searching your campsite, calling her name. At last you find her, lying at the bottom of a nearby gully, body stiff, as though she had been dead for some time.

The Absolute is closing in. You haven't much time. You must be rid of them quickly or your group will all perish.

You eye your companions and see the others are all watching each other warily, hands on weapons. You pull a knife from your belt, and look from one to the next, wondering who is going to make the first move. There is no further chance for error, you must root out the cultists now, or none of you will survive the trip to Baldur's Gate.

EGW was killed during the night. He was Shadowheart, Cleric of Shar, aligned with Town.

It is ELO. Town must eliminate correctly toDay or are at risk of losing.

Votals:
Not voting: bessie, moody, Seven, somitomi, Wam

With 5 players, it takes 3 to hammer. Deadline is April 23 at 9pm PST. Deadline timer.

Nothing to claim.

So Mylo mass claim?

My overnight gut read was egw bessie team but that was clearly wrong! There's a gojoe post so you can all mock me later for being wrong.

But we can validate claims depending on results.

The only result we can validate at present is that Seven actually had the thunderdome ability she mentioned, unless you want to start the process. No guarantee we'll accept any part of it.

Grr!
Wam wrote: Fri Apr 19, 2024 5:40 pm But we can validate claims depending on results.
Perhaps. If everyone has something that can be validated.

I am in general against claiming. Unless someone has a result that leads directly to scum.

I will let everyone have a chance to voice their opinions on claiming before I say anything else.

Updated reads tomorrow. I put in an 11 hour day at work.

I will let it slip that this isn't the case, but even then only day powers like what Seven had could be verified toDay. Although laying down claims now could be worthwhile if we make it to D4.
