3075: "Anachronym Challenge"

Title text: I have to pay with paper money.

…wait, irons used to be made out of iron?
…wait, glasses aren't made out of glass?
…wait, rubber ducks used to be made out of duck?

Not sure if I knew that people called aluminum foil "tin foil", since my family always called it aluminum foil, and I assumed tin foil was something different (which it looks like it sometimes is). (Of course, in England, it's made of aluminium instead of aluminum.)

In England we definitely call it tin foil despite it being made of aluminium. I don't think I've heard a British person call it "aluminium foil", but I've heard Americans call it "aluminum foil".

Here in Canada my family always said Tin Foil when talking about Aluminum foil, and yes we did talk a fair bit about tin foil. As well as the war time tea ration. Canadian TV and Radio were kind of a waste land back then so we had to make our own fun.
Golf clubs used to have names like Niblick and Mashey. See: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Obsolete_golf_clubs
