Instead of alternating nights for a kill between two scum teams as a compromise, how do you think a "first come, first serve" kill would work? Maybe if both teams pick the same player make it a strongman kill?
Timezone headaches aside I think a race like that would be kinda weird in a game that's generally more about strategy and deduction.
Both teams picking the same person gives me another idea though: what if both teams submitted a list of some size and one of the players included in both dies? There would be some chance of there being no kill by accident, but that can be balanced out by giving town less protective powers

Heh, just yesterday I ended up explaining the ponies (and forum mafia) to someone on Discord, because an off-hand reference to "you must not harm ratammer" resulted in the forum being linked.

As I mentioned in thread I have really bad choice paralysis, otherwise I'd have loved to play. I just didn't think I understood pyp balance dynamics enough to contribute to the initial discussion and it was important enough that I was completely unwilling to RNG it or anything.
And I decided better to he helping out than just being a potential replacement because there's no guarantee it will happen and from experience a comod is useful.

I actually fully agree with Swiss on janitor, it's a BS role that makes the game less fun.
However this is Seven's setup, not mine or EGW's, we're running it so Seven can play, and while we could've messed with it, messing with PYP roles is a tricky thing and I didn't want to suggest it without the advice of probably either Sabrar or Seven.
But I feel like saying that publicly might interfere with the game, because it could create interactions with Seven that wouldn't otherwise happen.

I guess what he means is it's a quasi-cop with the downside that I don't get to say who I found if I pick scum. The traditional way to sotto voce indicate results is by shading my reads I believe. We'll see how far I get.

Not usually a fan of PYP style setups, but this game has been pretty interesting so far. Very strong lineup. Will consider replacing in if it becomes needed later.
I will be eternally disappointed that I don't get to see a profile of myself like that from Seven.

Swiss's questions made me laugh. It's good to see him back. Interesting to see Boom's question to Bessie. I think he's intentionally asking a wifom question to get readable content. I would be uncomfortable with the questioning, and probably see no benefit to it other than giving fuel to vote me. Nevermind, seeing Bessie's response, it was just that she was busy. Lol.
