2835: "Factorial Numbers"

Post by ratammer »

Image
Title text: So what do we do when we get to base 10? Do we use A, B, C, etc? No: Numbers larger than about 3.6 million are simply illegal.

OK, so looking at the Wikipedia article I think I understand the system, but does anyone know of a use case?
Diana, madge's ratwife, any pronouns

I'm watching the first episode of all different cartoons!

Why spoil perfectly good pure mathematics with a "use"?

I have that system here, under "Mixed-base systems". You can convert between that and decimal (and everything else).
