As far as I recall, the forum always places your current avater on all posts, including old ones. So it wouldn't be available in the way back machine unless you had posted it as an image in a thread, rather than just as your avatar.

Yeah, it definitely does. It's possible the avatar was posted as an attachment in the Time thread as mentioned though.

Also guys, I hope this is not controversial, but for a long time people have been uncomfortable with the word "Lynch" being used in this context and recent world events have made it even more uncomfortable to do so.

"Lynch" is a term that refers to an extrajudicial killing, and fits with the traditional theme of the players forming an angry mob. Due to the harshly racial history of that term in the US, the Town's collective killing method may not be referred to as the lynch.

So, in this game, I will be using words like "elimination", "lim", "vote", "vote off", etc.

I am asking you all to do this, too. It does not make the game harder to play because apart from the neologism "lim" it's all common English words, and it makes the fora a more inclusive and welcoming place I hope.

Some terminology and acronyms that you can use instead:

ELo: Eliminate or lose
LiLo: Lim or lose
Lim: Elimination
ME: Miselimination
MeLo: Miseliminate and lose
MiLo: MisLim and lose
Mislim: miselimination
NE: No elimination
PE: Policy Elimination
E-1: elimination minus one

Condemner: a third-party role whose win condition is to get a specific person (the Condemnee) voted out, or eliminated.

Elim (eliminate) and yeet are both gaining traction on other mafia sites. Though for me lynch is such a big part of the culture of the game.
