Rockin' tunes

Post by ratammer »

What have you been listening to lately?

One of my favourite bands, Barenaked Ladies, recently released a new album called "Detour de Force", so I've been enjoying that.

Twenty One Pilots released their name album Scaled and Icy. I enjoy doing covers of their music.

I'm currently listening through the discography of the Italian metal band Derdian. Hadn't listened to them for a while, but they're pretty decent.

ive been going thru the discography of AS IT IS, a british pop punk band ive been meaning to properly check out for a while. pretty little distance by them is a fantastic song, just simple classic pop punk. they also did something really cool with The Great Depression: Reimagined where they basically took one of their previous albums (The Great Depression) and completely genre swapped it from just pop punk into this really cool symphonic stuff. Got kinda boring and felt like a bit of slog at the end, but still a completely awesome idea and a good album

Nightwish is a Finnish metal band that I love. Here's a couple of my favorite songs by them:

Storytime
Alpenglow
Erämaan viimeinen (feat. Jonsu) -- that one's in Finnish
I'm an EarthLing. (Formerly on Mars)
