Of course, since you are in the set of everyone, you both win and lose. The paradox resolves by the universe restarting some time a little under a year later.

I interpreted it the same as chridd. John was the one who wrote Revelation, so it seems likely this is intended to be him directly saying it. Also, his avatar is stood by the sea, whilst John recorded Revelation whilst living on the island of Patmos (so island = near sea = this is John the Apostle)....

To me a connector is what's on either end of a cable, so I guess as soon as there's a wire bit in the middle? I definitely wouldn't call a USB cable a connector.
A wire is a connector for connecting two other connectors, I reckon.
