I doubt the missile launch which occurred between panels two and three was accidental. However it does seems odd that they didn't fire the fellow who launched it either intentionally or by accident. Maybe he got a stern warning and a note was temporarily put in his file.

But, another thing that is the opposite of a Physicist is a toddler, I would be happy to stand next to something a toddler is excited about. I feel like that's a good way to get eaten by a dinosaur or lethally injured by earthmoving equipment... I don't need any assistance from an excited toddler t...

That first one the has the rope attached to the ball and the ground. I recall playing something called Squareball and we didn't even need the rope. Ball and the ground, no rope no pole. I also recall playgrounds where there was just the Ground and a pole, no rope no ball. Those were the worst playgr...

I figured there are two fields of study which produce people who are the opposite of Physicists: Theologians and Psychologists. To be completely honest, I wouldn't stand next to anything that any of them were excited about. But, another thing that is the opposite of a Physicist is a toddler, I would...

"Baby boomers" was coined by an older generation, and when you look at how the phrase was first used , it was to complain about young people's behaviours. Some day, "generation Z" will be the phrase people use when complaining about their elders. The phrase was coined and used t...

I am such a fan of Beret Guy. And I agree that this is similar to his reaction to nature in Winter. He has such an wonderful take on reality. Makes me wonder what his version/vision of Plato's cave would be like.

Re: 2636: "What If? 2 Countdown"
It bothers me that this comic establishes both a baker's day and a baker's fortnight, but that the baker's fortnight is a multiple of regular days instead of baker's days. Bakers are not idiots, they are in it for the money. 15 x 25hrs is going to eat up more than a half of a day's profit compared ...
